Frequently Asked Questions
Entrepreneurs Foundation works with firms and companies of all sizes ranging from emerging growth to large publicly traded companies to design, enhance and execute their corporate citizenship, corporate social responsibility, community benefit and philanthropic programs. Entrepreneurs Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization and was founded in 1998.
Entrepreneurs Foundation's mission is to engage companies in corporate citizenship and
philanthropic efforts so that new and leveraged resources are generated for community benefit.
Both private and public companies can join Entrepreneurs Foundation.
Private companies sign up with Entrepreneurs Foundation to create their corporate foundations and begin the development of their corporate community involvement and philanthropy programs. Most private companies choose to achieve these two objectives by making an equity grant to Entrepreneurs Foundation. This equity supports the creation of the Company's own corporate foundation as well as the development and implementation of a customized philanthropic and community involvement program. If you'd like to learn more about how your private company can join Entrepreneurs Foundation contact Dipti Pratt at dpratt@efbayarea.org.
Most public companies need assistance with strategy, program enrichment and specific project execution. In some cases, public companies who have not yet begun a corporate philanthropy or community involvement program, engage with EF for a full spectrum of services. If you're interested in EF's services for your company, contact Diane Solinger at dsolinger@efbayarea.org.
Entrepreneurs Foundation meets with company executives to understand overall goals of their community programs. Entrepreneurs Foundation develops strategic offerings that include recommendations for the company's community program as well as potential community partners. Programmatic recommendations are often based on the results of an employee survey, which EF conducts on the company's behalf. Depending on the focus area and goals of the program, Entrepreneurs Foundation provides all member companies with a customized approach to create strategic corporate citizenship programs that have a positive impact in both the community and the company.
Joining Entrepreneurs Foundation gives companies a chance to engage in the community while also enhancing the company's corporate culture and improving team building, recruiting, retention, morale and employee satisfaction through community programs. Community programs make business sense, improve brand trust and enhance corporate culture. Joining Entrepreneurs Foundation also provides the company and selected staff with opportunities for continued learning, professional networking and marketing.
Entrepreneurs Foundation has had over 800 companies join since its inception in 1998 in United States and Israel.
