Entrepreneurs Foundation offers employees 40 hours a year of volunteer time off (VTO) to dedicate to their work in the community. As a team, EF works side by side with their participating companies on various community involvement projects on a quarterly basis. EF staff is also encouraged to pursue their personal community interests by serving on local non-profit boards and advisory committees.
In 2005, EF Staff supported Alliance for San Mateo County Non Profits, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Bay Area Municipal Elections Committee, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Billy DeFrank LGBT Center, Community Foundation Silicon Valley, Estrella Family Services, Goodwill, Human Rights Campaign, Humane Society, InnVision, Los Gatos Community Unity, Nordstrom Home & School Group, NTEN (Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network), Renegade Theater Experiment, Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT), San Jose Leadership Council, Second Harvest Food Bank, Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, United Way Silicon Valley, YMCA and the YWCA.
